Gunnar Henderson, Adley Rutschman and Ryan Mountcastle each lead their respective positions in American League All-Star fan voting in MLB’s second update, the league announced Monday.

Henderson and Rutschman each hold large leads over their competition, with Henderson ahead of Kansas City’s Bobby Witt Jr. by nearly 600,000 votes and Rutschman up on the Royals’ Salvador Perez by a similar margin.

Henderson and Rutschman are two of just 10 players in all of baseball to receive more than 1.5 million votes so far, and Rutschman, who’s hitting .302 with 14 home runs, is third in the AL in total votes with more than 1.6 million. Mountcastle has taken a narrow lead over the Toronto Blue Jays’ Vladimir Guerrero Jr., whom the Orioles first baseman has overtaken for the top spot since MLB’s latest update last Monday. Mountcastle is slashing .305/.357/.508 with five homers over his past 30 games.

“They’re all so well deserving,” manager Brandon Hyde said. “So excited for every one of those guys and very cool that fans … are recognizing our players.”

Baltimore’s shortstop has emerged as one of baseball’s top talents in his sophomore season. He’s hitting .279 with a .597 slugging percentage and leads MLB in Fangraphs’ version of wins above replacement with 5.4, narrowly ahead of Yankees outfielder Aaron Judge (5.2). Henderson’s 24 home runs are second to only Judge, who paces all of MLB in All-Star votes with more than 2.3 million.

Jordan Westburg is second among third basemen, Jorge Mateo jumped from fourth to third among second basemen and Ryan O’Hearn remains fourth among designated hitters in Monday’s updated leaderboards. Anthony Santander and Colton Cowser are fifth and sixth, respectively, among outfielders, while Cedric Mullins leaped from 11th to eighth since the last update.

Fan voting is only open for position players, but the aforementioned hitters likely won’t be the only Orioles representing Baltimore in the Midsummer Classic on July 16 at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas.

Corbin Burnes’ 2.35 ERA is third best among AL starting pitchers and in contention to start the All-Star Game. Grayson Rodriguez, Cole Irvin and some of the Orioles’ relief pitchers could also be in the mix for spots on the roster.

“We’re very lucky to have a great group of guys who are not only amazing in the game of baseball, but also great teammates,” Irvin said. “They’re certainly deserving of the accolades.”

The first phase of fan voting ends Thursday, and the finalists will be announced on MLB Network at 6 p.m. that night. The top two vote-getters at each position, and the top six outfielders, will advance to the second phase of fan voting that begins Sunday. ESPN will unveil starters on July 3, and full rosters will be announced July 7.
