FBI: Serial bank robber suspected of striking again
A serial bank robber who the FBI says is on a spree through the Baltimore area struck again Saturday, the agency says, hitting a Wells Fargo branch in Linthicum shortly after noon. It's the sixth bank the man is suspected of having robbed since late October and the third in a week. The FBI first circulated out a wanted flier on Wednesday for the suspect — who has not been identified — and then announced that he was believed to have carried out two more robberies in Baltimore later that day.
The FBI declined to say how much money the robberies have netted. In pictures released by the FBI, the man appears wearing ball caps. In the image from Saturday's robbery, the blue star of the Dallas Cowboys is clearly visible on the front of his hat. There's a $5,000 reward for information about the man, but the FBI advises not to approach him because he is considered to be armed and dangerous.
