I see The Baltimore Sun is in favor of requiring presidential candidates to make public the last five years of tax returns for ballot access . Why stop there?

Shouldn't we also require birth certificates and college transcripts? A birth certificate would prove the candidate was constitutionally eligible for the office and would prevent the silliness that occurred over the current president's eligibility. College transcripts would allow voters the ability to gauge the intelligence and preparedness of the candidate.

Or is your endorsement for the tax return requirement just another way to stick it to Donald Trump rather than promoting good public policy?
