Bills QB Nathan Peterman vs. Ravens DEFENSIVE COORDINATOR Don “Wink” Martindale

Peterman was a fifth-round selection in the 2017 draft. He completed only 24 of 49 passes as a rookie and had a passer rating of 38.4. This is Martindale’s first game as Ravens defensive coordinator, and if he stays with the preseason script, he will hit Peterman with a lot of blitzes and pressures. This could get ugly. Bills RB LeSean McCoy vs Ravens LBs C.J. Mosley and Patrick Onwuasor

One of the only ways for Buffalo to stay in the game is to have McCoy pound away. McCoy can do it all as a runner and receiver. He rushed 287 times for 1,138 yards and six touchdowns last season and caught 59 passes for 448 yards and two TDs. Mosley led the team in tackles last season with 132. Onwuasor was second on the team in tackles with 90, but both are liabilities in pass coverage. Edge: Ravens

Bills DT Kyle Williams vs. Ravens LG Alex Lewis

Williams is 35 years old, but still capable of causing a lot of problems up front. He finished with 41 tackles last season despite being moved to tackle in a 4-3 defense. Williams has been to the Pro Bowl five times. Lewis missed last season with a shoulder injury and has struggled at times during the preseason. He’ll get plenty of help from center Matt Skura against Williams, but that should free up a Buffalo linebacker. Edge: Bills
