An 18-year-old was arrested in connection with a threat made to Dundalk High School and Sollers Point Technical High School.

At about 9:31 a.m. Thursday, Baltimore County Police officers investigated a threat that appeared on social media, and Dundalk High and Sollers Point Technical High, which share a facility, were placed on lockout status.

A lockout allows the school to continue instruction and regular operations, but the outside doors are locked, said Gboynide Onijala, a Baltimore County Public Schools spokesperson.

The Baltimore County Police Department asks all students, parents and staff to report suspicious or threatening activity. Threats can be reported to school resource officers or school administrators. Information may also be provided through the Safe Schools Maryland App.
