Nora Flack, 35, brought some shimmer to the dance floor at the Maryland Science Center's Solstice gala, dressed in shiny pewter as she and her friends did the “Electric Slide” on the dance floor.
The Clarksville resident loves to coordinate not just her dance moves, but — as her party ensemble demonstrated — her outfits. However, since Flack took a few years' leave from her work as a dental hygienist to become a stay-at-home mom, her focus has changed a tad.
“I've turned my obsession into dressing my kids. I love coordinating their outfits. And I end up wearing workout clothes,” she said with a laugh.
Flack refers to her 1-year-daughter, Isla, as her “mini-me.”
“She's like my little doll. I just love dressing her up,” she said.
As for her 3-year-old son, Sebastian …
“He is a good sport so far. He still wears what I pick out for him,” she said.
However, being a stylist for husband Rob Flack, Transcat vice president, is a different matter.
“No,” she said. “He will only cooperate for pictures. But he is very much only a T-shirt-and-jeans type of guy.”
HER STYLE: “Classic, feminine and romantic. I like clean lines and bright colors.”
HER FAVORITE LABEL: “[The children's line] Janie and Jack. It's a brand that's been out since 2004, and there's a bit of following.”
