HCPD crossing guards work to ensure safety of students and families as they walk to and from school. Current openings include Hammond Middle, Bollman Bridge Elementary, Bryant Woods Elementary, Burleigh Manor Middle, Forest Ridge Elementary, Jeffers Hill Elementary, Laurel Woods Elementary, Murray Hill Middle, Stevens Forest Elementary, Swansfield Elementary and Talbott Springs Elementary schools. Paid part-time positions requires 10-20 hours of work per week during school year and pay $18 an hour. Applicants must be at least 18 years old and pass a background investigation.
