¦ NFL: The Titans and wide receiver Eric Decker have agreed to a one-year deal.

Decker visited the Titans on Wednesday, met with coach Mike Mularkey and took a physical.

He was released this month by the Jets after three seasons with the team. Decker, who spent his first four seasons with Denver, has three 1,000-yard seasons in his sevenyear NFL career.

¦ GOLF:Brooke Henderson won the Meijer LPGA Classic in Grand Rapids, Mich., for her fourth LPGA title, holding off Michelle Wie and Lexi Thompson by two strokes. Henderson, 19, closed with a 66 on the Blythefield layout that was reduced to a par of 69 — the fifth hole was played as a par-3 instead of a par-5 — the final two rounds because of flooding. Wie finished with a 65, and Thompson had a 69.

¦ NHL: The salary cap will be $75 million for this season in a $2 million increase over last year. The league and NHL Players’ Association announced the cap and the salary floor of $55.4 million in a joint statement. The figures are set by the league’s hockey-related revenue.

¦ SAILING: Peter Burling and Emirates Team New Zealand are threatening to sail away with the America’s Cup. The 26-yearold Burling calmly steered the Kiwis’ 50-foot ET CETERA Monsoor wins pro bass tournament on Potomac Yamamoto Baits pro Tom Monsoor of La Crosse, Wis., won the Fishing League Worldwide Tour on the Potomac River on Sunday after bringing a fivebass limit to the scale weighing 15 pounds, 2 ounces.

Monsoor’s four-day cumulative total of 20 bass weighing 66 pounds, 11 ounces was enough to fend off second-place finisher pro Chad Warren of Sand Springs, Okla., by 5 ounces. Monsoor earned $100,000 and his first career Tour victory. Monsoor said he spent his week picking apart two areas of the Potomac River — a 100- to 200-foot stretch near an area known as Mason’s Neck, and a100-yard section of water in Quantico Bay. Mason’s Neck gave Monsoor the number of fish he needed to put together limits, while Quantico Bay produced the bigger bites that helped him best the field. Monsoor said every fish he weighed in during the tournament was caught on a black and blue-colored swimjig with a Yamamoto Baits Flappin’ Hog trailer of the same color. Bryan Schmitt of Deale, who earned his first FLW Tour victory last month on the Mississippi River, finished 44th after failing to make the Day 2 cut with a two-day total of 29 pounds,14 ounces.

HORSE RACING: Two days after his first starter as a trainerwas scratched at the starting gate,Noah Abramson returned to Laurel Park to send out his first careerwinner in Sunday’sfourth race. Harbortown Stable and breeder Carol Ann Kaye’s Temple Sky, a 3-year-old filly racing for the first time, shook off a late challenge from Honor and Blissing to kick clear and win the 5 1 /2-furlong maiden claiming event by 1 3 /4 lengths. Temple Sky was the second-longest shot in a field of seven at odds of 14-1, completing the distance in 1:05.25 over a fast main track. ... Jockeys Jevian Toledo and Edgar Prado each rode two winners Sunday. Toledo was first aboard Uhwarrie Sky ($16.80) in the first and Temple Sky ($31.80) in the fourth, and Prado scored on No Knock Raid ($13.80) in the seventh and Light the Night ($15) in the ninth. WNBA: Glory Johnsonscored 27 points andSkylar Diggins-Smith had 19 as the Dallas Wings (5-8) rallied past the host Washington Mystics for an 87-83 win. The Wings endeda three-game losing streak by outscoring the Eastern Conference-leading Mystics 28-17 in the fourth quarter after trailing 49-39 at halftime.

Tayler Hill scored 21 points for the Mystics catamaran to two more dominating victories against Jimmy Spithill and two-time defending champion Oracle Team USA in Hamilton, Bermuda. Although they’ve won four races, the Kiwis lead Oracle 3-0. Because Oracle won the qualifiers, the challenger started the 35th America’s Cup match with a negative point in the first-to-seven contest.

¦ TENNIS: Gilles Muller prevailed in a battle of veterans by earning a 7-6 (5), 7-6 (4) victory over Ivo Karlovic in the Ricoh Open final in Den Bosch, Netherlands. The combined age (72) of Muller (34) and Karlovic (38) made the match the oldest ATP final since 1977, when 42-year-old Ken Rosewall defeated 30-year-old Ilie Nastase in Hong Kong. ... Unseeded Donna Vekic recovered from a poor start to beat top-seeded Johanna Konta 2-6, 7-6 (3), 7-5 in the Aegon Open final in Nottingham, England.

¦ WNBA: Diana Taurasi scored 19 points to break the WNBA career scoring record in the Mercury’s 90-59 loss to the host Sparks.

Taurasi has 7,494 points, passing Tina Thompson’s mark of 7,488. The game was stopped as the crowd, which included former Lakers star Kobe Bryant, gave Taurasi a warm ovation.

¦ ALSO: Tim Hague, the former UFC fighter known as “The Thrashing Machine,” died two days after he was critically injured when he was knocked out in a boxing match in Edmonton, Alberta, against former Edmonton Eskimos defensive end Adam Braidwood.

Hague, 33, was a heavyweight trained in jiujitsu.

The top three boats all finished with seven points and Horowitz won the tiebreaker by having the most first-place finishes. This year’s AYC Annual Regatta featured four one-design classes along with three handicap divisions and attracted a total of 43 entries.

Brothers-in-law Bob Rutsch and Mike Costello took the J/30 class, winning all three races aboard Bebop. David Andril and his crew on Vayu did the same in J/80. Co-owners Cedric Lewis and Fredrik Salvesen and their team on Mirage took the J/105 class, which also had 11boats.
