Two motorists, including a 15-year-old boy, were hospitalized due to a Wednesday evening crash after he fled from an attempted traffic stop, Baltimore Police said.

Police said they spotted the teen “driving recklessly” around 7 p.m. near Belair Road’s intersection with East North Avenue. Officers initiated a traffic stop once they found the car had been reported stolen, police said.

The vehicle fled, crashing into another at Sinclair Lane, police said. The teen and a woman driving the other vehicle were both hospitalized.

A 16-year-old passenger in the teen’s car attempted to flee but was apprehended, police said, noting that charges were pending.
