Ovechkin serves ban as Caps win
Jakub Vrana had a goal and an assist as the Eastern Conference-leading Capitals beat the Canadiens 4-2 on Monday night in Montreal for their fourth straight win.
Tom Wilson, Travis Boyd and Nicklas Backstrom also scored for the Caps, and T.J. Oshie had two assists.
The Caps, 7-1-0 in their last eight games at Bell Centre, were without star forward Alex Ovechkin while he missed his first game this season to serve a one-game suspension for skipping the All-Star Game.
Braden Holtby made 31 saves and improved to 14-2-2 in his career against the Canadiens.
Frederik Andersen made 34 saves for the Leafs, who snapped a two-game losing streak.
The Predators have lost of three of four.
Nylander scored first at 4:13 of the opening period, giving him a goal in four straight games.
The 24-year-old Robinson was pressed into action at the NHL level this season because of rash of injuries to regulars.
