Acuna, at 20 the youngest player in the majors, went 1-for-5. Ozzie Albies, the second-youngest player in the bigs at 21, homered and later scored the go-ahead run on Johan Camargo’s double.
¦ Rays: LHP Jonny Venters is back in the big leagues after three Tommy John surgeries and a six-year absence. He came on in the sixth inning of an 8-4 victory over the Orioles and retired Chris Davis on a groundout — the only batter he faced. The Rays roughed up former teammate Alex Cobb for five runs on 10 hits in 4 2 /3 innings.
¦ Phillies: Aaron Altherr hit a go-ahead three-run homer and Jake Arrieta outpitched Zack Greinke in a 5-3 victory over the Diamondbacks. Arrieta (3-0) allowed three runs — one earned — on four hits in seven innings for the Phils (15-8). Greinke (2-2) gave up five runs on nine hits in six innings, striking out nine.
¦ Cardinals: Jedd Gyorko, Dexter Fowler and Marcell Ozuna drove in two runs apiece in a 9-1 rout of the Mets. The Cards have won nine of 11.
¦ Red Sox: Mookie Betts homered twice as the Red Soxended a season-high three-game skid with a 4-3 win over the Blue Jays.
Betts began the game with his third leadoff homer of the season.
¦ Marlins: J.T. Realmuto crushed two home runs and the Marlins won back-to-back games for the first time, beating the Dodgers 8-6. Clayton Kershaw (1-4) tied a career high with six walks in five innings and yielded a three-run homer to Miguel Rojas.
