Everett Cox delivered a walk-off single in the bottom of the seventh inning as host Fallston upset No. 9 South Carroll, 6-5, in baseball on Tuesday.

The Cavaliers (1-2) capitalized on two errors by Fallston to score three runs and tie the score at five in the seventh inning.

Josh Bogdan pitched five innings for the Cougars (1-1) and got the win.

Bryce Logan went 2-for-3 with a double and two RBIs, and Ryan Tarrant went 2-for-2 with two runs scored and two RBIs for Fallston.

Severn 12, Concordia Prep 4: Winner Sam Roeder (3-0) struck out five over 41/3 innings to make the Admirals 10-0.

The Saints fell to 2-2. Ethan O'Malley went 2-for-5 with three RBIs for Severn.

Boys lacrosse

No. 2 Calvert Hall 19, Half Hollow Hills (N.Y.) 3: Jacob Kelly had three goals and five assists to lead the Cardinals (6-1) past the host Colts (1-1).

No. 4 St. Paul's 10, Georgetown Prep 8: The host Crusaders (5-2) scored twice in a row in the third quarter to get separation from the Hoyas (5-2).

Kyle DiPietro finished with a game-high five goals for St. Paul's.

Marriotts Ridge 8, South Carroll 5: Peter Geier had a hat trick, Juke Goonan won 11 of 16 faceoffs and freshman goalie Colin Kelley stonewalled the Cavaliers early and often en route to collecting eight saves as the Mustangs (2-2) beat the Cavaliers (1-2).

The veteran defense, led by seniors Bladen Miller, Casey Allwein and midfielder Casey Brennan, did the rest.

Havre de Grace 15, Aberdeen 4: Colin Dean's five goals and three assists led the Warriors (1-3) past the host Eagles (1-3).

The Warriors scored the first four goals and led 6-2 at the half. A 7-0 third quarter for Havre de Grace blew the game open. Trent Reynolds had three goals and three assists, while Kyle Cameron and Kyle Barkley each added two goals and an assist.

Kyle Sampson and Skylar McKinley scored two goals apiece for Aberdeen.
