Zane Martin scored 23 points off the bench and Towson erased an eight-point halftime deficit en route to an 86-80 win at Hofstra on Thursday night.

Rokas Gustys hit two layups in the first minute of the second half to put the Pride in front 44-34. Jordan McNeil (Mount Saint Joseph) gave Towson the lead with a three-point play with 13:41 left, and the Tigers never looked back.

Arnaud William Adala Moto, Deshaun Morman and John Davis each added 14 points for Towson (11-9, 3-4 Colonial Athletic Association), and McNeil finished with 13. The Tigers shot 30-for-61 from the field (49.2 percent), and hit five of 10 3-point attempts.

Eli Pemberton scored 26 points, Deron Powers added 19 and Justin Wright-Foreman had 18 for the Pride. Hofstra (9-11, 1-6) shot 28-for-58 from the field (48.3 percent), including 8-for-20 from 3-point range

Mount St. Mary's 86, Sacred Heart 75: Elijah Long (John Carroll) had 19 points and Junior Robinson and Miles Wilson each scored 17 as the visiting Mount (8-12, 6-1 Northeast Conference) led all the way in beating the Pioneers (8-12, 3-4).

Mount St. Mary's posted a 19-4 lead to begin the game, with 14 points coming from Long, Robinson, and Wilson. Mawdo Sallah's jumper with 9:59 before halftime put the Mountaineers in front 35-11.

The Mount led Sacred Heart 51-27 at the break. The Pioneers rallied with a 26-7 spurt in the first 8:25 of the second half and cut the deficit to 58-55 on Quincy McKnight's layup but couldn't get closer.

Chris Wray had 13 rebounds for Mount Saint Mary's, and Long added seven assists and six rebounds but committed nine of the Mountaineers' 23 turnovers. Greg Alexander had 12 points and Sallah added 10.

McKnight scored 26 points for Sacred Heart. Chris Robinson added 14, Matej Buovac 12, and Joseph Lopez had 11 points and 10 rebounds.
