WASHINGTON — Ramon Sessions, one of four reserves who started for Washington, scored 22 points, as the Wizards won their final game of the season, beating the Atlanta Hawks, 109-98, on Wednesday night.

Atlanta finished 48-34 — the same record as the Miami Heat, who owned the tiebreaker over the Hawks and so earned the No. 3 seed in the Eastern Conference playoffs.

Washington finished 41-41 and now the big question surrounding the team is whether coach Randy Wittman will be brought back.

“There'll be time to digest everything after this,” Wittman said before the game.
