The historic Admiral Fell Inn will reopen this spring as the renovated The William Fell hotel, according to a Thursday in a statement.

“The William Fell is a cornerstone of the neighborhood, and we are proud to usher in a new era through our continued investment in the hotel and Fells Point,” said Justin Jabara, president of Meyer Jabara Hotels, which continues to own and operate the hotel.

When it opens under the new name in April, the hotel will be part of the Tapestry Collection by Hilton brand, allowing Hilton Honors members to cash in points to book their rooms, the statement said.

Though the original brick facade from the 1700s will remain intact, the interior renovations include updates to the hotel’s 80 rooms and lobby, local art additions, new business and banquet spaces, and a fitness center.

“Our vision is to honor the legacy and authenticity of Fells Point while offering an exceptional hotel experience and a neighborhood space that reflects the welcoming spirit of Charm City. Through intentional design, attention to detail, and unmatched hospitality, we aim to elevate this centerpiece of Fells Point even higher,” Jabara said in the statement.

At 888 S. Broadway, the hotel is in the heart of Fells Point, between Broadway Square and the waterfront.

“The hotel has remained open throughout renovations,” the William Fell team said via email. The Anchor Tavern inside the hotel has also reopened, they said.
