Panthers shock Pats as time runs out

Graham Gano kicked a 48-yard field goal as time expired Sunday and the Panthers stunned the Patriots 33-30 in Foxborough, Mass.
The Pats committed two penalties on the Panthers’ final drive, losing their second home game.
Cam Newton finished 22 of 29 for 316 yards with three TDs and one INT, picking apart a defense that was giving up an NFL-worst 461 yards and 31.7 points per game. Newton ran for another score.
Texans 57, Titans 14: Rookie Deshaun Watson threw for four TDs and ran for another. The Texans scored the most points in franchise history and became the first team with 50 points since the Jaguars scored 51 in December 2015. Watson went 25 of 34 for 283 yards.
Rams 35, Cowboys 30: Todd Gurley scored the go-ahead TD on a 53-yard catch and Greg Zuerlein kicked a career-high seven FGs. Gurley had 121 yards rushing and 94 receiving. Jared Goff threw for 255 yards and two TDs. The Rams overcame Ezekiel Elliott’s two TDs.
Bills 23, Falcons 17: Stephen Hauschka’s 56-yard FG in the final five minutes broke a tie, and the Bills stopped the Falcons at the 10 with less than a minute left. Matt Ryan threw two INTs, giving him five in the last two games.
Broncos 16, Raiders 10: Justin Simmons’ INT just shy of the goal line preserved the win. The Broncos held Marshawn Lynch to 12 yards. A.J. Derby’s one-handed grab of Trevor Siemian’s 22-yard pass gave the Broncos their only TD.
Jets 23, Jaguars 20: Chandler Catanzaro kicked a 41-yard FG with 28 seconds left in OT. Bilal Powell rushed for a career-high 163 yards, including a 75-yard TD, and rookie Elijah McGuire had a 69-yard score and 93 yards rushing. It marked the first time the Jets had two TD runs of 60 or more yards in one game.
Steelers 26, Ravens 9: Le’Veon Bell ran for 144 yards and two TDs in the Steelers’ first win in Baltimore since 2012. Ben Roethlisberger went 18-for-30 for 216 yards and a TD.
Eagles 26, Chargers 24: Carson Wentz passed for 242 yards, LeGarrette Blount ran for 136 and rookie Jake Elliott kicked four FGs. Philip Rivers passed for 347 yards and two TDs for the winless Chargers.
Lions 14, Vikings 7: Anthony Zettel had two sacks and a fumble recovery. Matthew Stafford went 19 of 31 for 209 yards despite six sacks.
Buccaneers 25, Giants 23: Jameis Winston threw for three TDs and Nick Folk hit a 34-yard FG as time expired to keep the Giants winless.
Saints 20, Dolphins 0: Drew Brees passed for 268 yards and two scores in the rain at Wembley Stadium in London. It was the Saints’ first shutout since 2012 vs. the Bucs.
Cardinals 18, 49ers 15: Larry Fitzgerald caught a 19-yard pass from Carson Palmer with 32 seconds left in OT for the only TD in a game that featured nine FGs.
Bengals 31, Browns 7: Andy Dalton went 25 of 30 for 286 yards and four TDs as the Browns fell to 1-19 in two seasons under coach Hue Jackson.
Seahawks 46, Colts 18: The Seahawks scored the final 28 points, including Bobby Wagner’s fumble return for a TD. RB Chris Carson was carted off with a leg injury.
