


The Maryland Transportation Authority is investigating a deadly two-vehicle crash that occurred late Sunday night on I-95 in Baltimore.
On Sunday, shortly before 11:30 p.m., MDTA Police Officers from the Central Command Detachment responded to the northbound lanes of I-95 near Washington Boulevard (Exit 51).
Upon arrival, officers found a silver Toyota Yaris and a black Jeep Compass involved in the crash. The driver of the Toyota was pronounced dead at the scene. Two passengers in the Toyota were transported to a local hospital.
The driver of the Jeep was also taken to a hospital with minor injuries.
MDTA’s Police Collision Reconstruction Unit is investigating the incident. Authorities are asking anyone who witnessed the crash or saw either vehicle before the incident to contact MDTA Police at 410-537-1209.
