Man, 34, arrested in killing of popular local DJ Baltimore police have arrested and charged a 34-year-old in the fatal shooting Friday of a popular local DJ. Police said Brandon Harris shot Vincent Curtis, 53, of the 3000 block of Walbrook Ave. in the chest early Friday morning.
The shooting occurred around 4 a.m. in the 1200 block of Bloomfield Ave. in the southwest area of the city. Curtis was found by officers and was taken to Maryland Shock Trauma Center, where he was pronounced dead, police said.
Curtis was a popular DJ who went by the name DJ Vicious V. A preliminary investigation revealed his shooting “stemmed from an ongoing dispute” with another man, police said. Homicide detectives found video footage of the shooting and interviewed several witnesses, and identified Harris as a suspect, police said. Harris, of the 700 block of St. Dunstans Road in North Baltimore, is charged with second-degree murder, first-degree assault and multiple handgun violations, police said.

Los Angeles-based Bradford’s concept of himself as a citizen artist, Bedford said, will likely become “a model for the future of museums that imagine a civically engaged future.”

Police say a 13-yearold girl skipped class Friday at the Northeast Baltimore school and was walking the halls when three teenage boys grabbed her and shoved her inside a janitor’s closet. Inside, two of the boys performed sex acts on her, police said. The three boys have been charged as juveniles.
One14-year-old was charged with sexual assault-related charges, police said. Another 14-year-old was charged with second-degree assault and conspiracy, according to police. A 15- year-old was charged with sexual assault-related charges. The three were taken to the Baltimore Juvenile Justice Center.
