The Greater Baltimore Chamber of Commerce may be all about business, but not at its Annual Holiday Mixer & Ugly Sweater Contest. Some 60 members and guests came together at the DoubleTree by Hilton Baltimore North-Pikesville, to eat, drink and be merry.“[The holidays are] a great time for businesses to get together, have fun and let down their hair. They feel relaxed and welcomed. They don’t have to come in with a networking agenda. It’s about having a little fun,” said Beth Rheingold, GBCC’s president/CEO.

The light-hearted atmosphere got a particular boost, courtesy the wacky holiday attire sported by some.

“This is the first time we put the spin on it with the Ugly Sweater Contest. And, man, have people shown up. There are some really ugly sweaters,” Rheingold said, with a laugh.

The “winners” of the night? LaShaune Stitt, Lonnie Davie and Danny Glazer took home the honors, which came in the form of a plastic candy cane filled with Hershey Kisses.
