


Baltimore Police are investigating two fatal shootings that occurred Saturday.
According to police, Western District patrol officers responded to a ShotSpotter gunfire detection alert in the 1400 block of School Street, in the city’s Sandtown-Winchester neighborhood, just before 5 p.m.
Police said a man was found suffering from gunshot wounds in the 1500 block of North Stricker Street and was transported to an area hospital, where he later died.
Hours later, around 9:44 p.m., officers responded to the 5400 block of Park Heights Avenue in Northwest Baltimore for a report of another shooting, according to police.
Upon arrival, officers located a 30-year-old man suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.
The victim was transported to an area hospital, where he later died, police said.
