Sergio Perkovic scored the game-tying and game-winning goals to lead No. 2 Notre Dame to an 8-7 overtime victory over visiting Virginia on Saturday.

The Cavaliers (3-5, 0-2 Atlantic Coast Conference) led 7-6 when Perkovic scored with 24 seconds left in regulation to force overtime. He added the game-winner with 3:31 remaining in the extra session.

The Fighting Irish (5-1, 1-0) lost their No. 1 ranking in overtime to then-No. 2 Denver, 9-8, last Sunday.

Virginia trailed 2-0 before going on a 4-0 run that spanned both halves. The Cavaliers broke three ties and took their final lead at 7-6 on a goal by Ryan Lukacovic with 1:24 left to play.

No. 1 Denver 15, Ohio State 6: Maryland transfer Connor Cannizzaro and Jack Bobzien had three goals each to lead the host Pioneers (7-0) past the Buckeyes (5-4).

Freshman Trevor Baptiste won 15 of 23 at the faceoffs and had 11 ground balls, while freshman Ryan Harnisch went 1-for-2 in the fourth quarter.

No. 4 Yale 15, Cornell 9: The visiting Bulldogs (6-0, 1-0 Ivy League) with a 5-2 run in the fourth quarter to beat the Big Red (3-3, 0-1).

Yale is off to its first 6-0 start since 1990.

Ben Reeves and Michael Keasey each scored four goals for the Bulldogs.

No. 5 Brown 11, No. 14 Harvard 8: Kylor Bellistri scored three goals, including two in the final five minutes, to lift the visiting Bears (6-0, 1-0 Ivy) over the Crimson (4-3, 0-1).

No. 10 Albany 16, No. 15 Stony Brook 10: The host Great Danes (3-2, 1-0 America East) had two 5-0 runs late in the game to beat the Seawolves (5-2, 0-1).

The victory increased Albany's conference winning streak to 17, dating three years and the longest in Division I.

No. 11 Duke 20, Georgetown 6: Jack Bruckner had five goals and two assists to lead the host Blue Devils (6-3) past the Hoyas (1-6).

Danny Fowler made nine saves in the win.

Providence 12, No. 12 Hofstra 7: The host Friars (4-3) used a 5-0 run in the first quarter to set the pace and upset the Pride (4-3).

Brendan Kearns had a hat trick for Providence. The win marks the first time the Friars have defeated a ranked opponent since April 28, 2012, when they defeated then-No. 13 Villanova.

Bucknell 13, No. 16 Boston University 6: The host Bison (5-3, 2-2 Patriot League) outscored the Terriers (6-2, 2-1) by 9-2 in the second half.

Will Sands finished with four goals for Bucknell.

No. 17 North Carolina 15, No. 18 Richmond 6: Chris Cloutier had four goals, and Patrick Kelly (Calvert Hall) and Steve Pontrello each had three, to lead the host Tar Heels (5-3) past the Spiders (6-2).

Massachusetts 11, No. 20 Penn State 9: Buddy Carr had a hat trick, including the 10th goal, as the Minutemen (4-4) beat the host Nittany Lions (5-3).

Carr added an assist for a team-high four points. Dan Muller and Ben Spencer each scored twice.

No. 9 Towson 15, Furman 6: Ben McCarty (South Carroll) had two goals and two assists to lead the Tigers past the visiting Paladins.

Towson improved to 7-1. Furman fell to 0-7.

Binghamton 16, UMBC 10: The host Bearcats (1-4, 1-0 America East) extended a two-goal lead with a 4-0 run in the third quarter and beat the Retrievers (1-4, 0-1).

The game marked the return of UMBC's Nate Lewnes (St. Mary's), who led the Retrievers with two goals and two assists and became the 33rd player in school history to reach the 100-point mark.

Catholic 13, Goucher 10: Michael Morgan and Owen Demmerly each scored three goals, but the host Gophers (6-2, 0-1 Landmark Conference) fell to the Cardinals (7-2, 1-0).

Frostburg State 13, Washington College 10: Adam Gross started a 7-0 run that spanned the third and fourth quarters to allow the Bobcats (10-0) to overtake the host Shoremen (3-3).

Salisbury 9, Mary Washington 4: Thomas Cirillo had a hat trick and the Sea Gulls (9-0, 2-0 Capital Athletic Conference) ended the game on a 4-1 run to beat the host Eagles (3-6, 1-1).

Dickinson 13, Stevenson 10: The Red Devils (5-2) outscored the host Mustangs (3-4) by 6-3 in the fourth to win at the Mustang Classic.
