Archbishop Curley wrestling swept the Sharknado Duals at Georgetown Prep Saturday.

The Friars (21-5) beat Woodrow Wilson (D.C.), 58-13, the host Little Hoyas, 46-28, and Model School for the Deaf (D.C.), 64-10. Curley was led by standouts Nick Koprick (138-pounds), Ronald Clark III (195-pounds) and Mike Varkas (220-pounds).

Boys basketball

No. 8 Lake Clifton 64, Mervo 45: Armon Harried scored a game-high 33 points to lead the host Lakers (13-2) past the Mustangs (4-4). Lake Clifton led 32-25 in the first half.

Girls basketball

Institute of Notre Dame 71, No. 10 Pikesville 64: Eniya Russell scored a game-high 30 points and Grace Taylor had 20 points to lead the Penguins (6-11) over the Panthers (10-3).

Severn 40, Gerstell 35: Morgan Skinner had 12 points to lead the Admirals (3-15, 2-7 Interescholastic Athletic Association B Conference) past the host Falcons (3-18, 1-9). Severn has won its last two games.

Indoor track

Carroll County championships: Century’s boys captured their ninth consecutive Carroll County Athletic League championship at Hagerstown Community College on Saturday.

Three Knights won individual titles in five events. Jalen Stanton, the reigning Carroll CountyBoys Indoor Track Athlete of the Year, came away with three of those with victories in the 55-meter dash, the 55 hurdles and the high jump. Kyle Brosenne won the 300 and Tyler Dregely ran to victory in the 500.

South Carroll’s girls squad repeated as county champions with 111 points, outlasting runners-up Century with 94. The Cavaliers crowned three individual champions — Grace Fipps won the 55 dash, Brooke Flanigan won the 55 hurdles and Lexi Winkler finished first in the 500.

The girls took second place in every relay as well.

“We’re very excited,” Cavs senior Sarah Langille said.
