Meghan Trainor has admitted that she did have a say in the post-production of her “Me Too” music video.

The pop star announced to her Snapchat followers Monday night that she would be removing the video from YouTube because her waist was photo-edited.

“We didn't have a lot of time for this video and we had to wrap it around pretty quick. They had like a day to get beauty and color done,” she said. “I take full blame for not seeing it.”

However, Trainor did have time to sign off on an earlier version of the video.

“I approved a version, but I remember we were so focused on the car scene for a lot of takes, because they had filters over it to make it look like a video recording,” she said. “I said, ‘No,' and I was only really looking at that part, and to make sure the filter (was) off.”

Trainor revealed that she didn't take notice of the editing until fans started sharing the video.

“When I saw it out, the fans were posting pictures of it, and I said, ‘Why are fans, like, photoshopping my waist?' And then I said, 'Oh, God, is that the video?' Then I freaked out and called everyone.”

The 22-year-old Grammy-winning singer said she was surprised the scenes managed to get overlooked.

“We are all just banging our heads against the wall. How did we miss that?” she said.
