Art Adventures Use art to explore other places, peoples and cultures, and learn about traditional art techniques and styles at 3 p.m. Monday, July 25. Ages 6 to 8. Registration is required.
Digging for Dinosaurs Learn about dinosaurs, play a dinosaur identification game, dissect a replica dinosaur egg and assemble dino parts at 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 26, and 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 27. Ages 6 to 9. Registration is required.
Glue, Who Knew? Children take part in sticky stories, experiments and a craft at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. Thursday, July 28. Contact with flour, milk, vinegar, and baking soda may occur. Ages 7 to 10. Registration is required.
Ready, Set, Collage Abrakadoodle art instructors demonstrate collage techniques at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, July 30. Choose a favorite sport and create shadow art in motion. Ages 9 to 12. Registration is required.
Ask a Master Gardener Discuss gardening questions with a master gardener from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Monday, July 25. No registration is required.
All Together Now Stories, songs and activities for children and adults to enjoy together at 10:30 a.m. Friday, July 29. No registration is required.
Passport services Passport application services are available from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturdays at the Glenwood branch. No appointment is necessary, and applications will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis. hclibrary.org.
