Feel like you’ve traveled back to prehistoric times when dinosaurs roamed the planet at Jurassic Quest at the Maryland State Fairgrounds, 2200 York Road, Timonium. Saturday’s screening is “The Thing” (1982) starring Kurt Russell and Sunday’s screening is “The Blob” (1988) starring Kevin Dillon and Shawnee Smith. “The Thing” is a remake of the 1951 Howard Hawks’ film, the first film in John Carpenter’s “Apocalypse Trilogy” and what many critics consider his finest effort.
