


A bank robbery suspect was arrested Saturday afternoon while on board a Greyhound bus in an attempt to leave Maryland, according to Baltimore Police.
The 34-year-old, whom police called a “serial bank robber,” was a suspect in multiple robbery cases in Baltimore City and County this September and October, according to a news release. He was taken into custody on the 1100 block of Russell Street in South Baltimore, police said.
The suspect is facing numerous charges, including multiple counts of armed robbery, assault and theft. He also had outstanding warrants for assault and parole violations, police said.
The suspect was taken to Baltimore County for processing, according to police.
