Baltimore Mayor Brandon Scott and his wife, Hana Pugh, have welcomed their second child together.

The couple’s daughter, Camden Lee Scott, was born Saturday at 12:35 p.m. and weighed in at 6 pounds.

“Mama and Baby Camden are doing great, and Daddy is grinning from ear to ear!,” Scott said, announcing his daughter’s birth on the social media platform X. The couple said in November that they were expecting a girl.

Baby Camden is the second child born to Scott and Pugh, who were married in a surprise ceremony in August. Her older brother, Charm, was born in December 2023. The mayor also has a 9-year-old stepson named Ceron.

Scott has spoken favorably of his growing family, telling The Baltimore Sun in late December that his New Year’s resolution for 2025 was “to every day be a better husband, father and mayor than I was the [last] day.”

Between a surprise wedding, the birth of two children, and their father becoming the first Baltimore City mayor to win reelection in two decades, the Scott family has had quite a past 14 months.
