The father suspected of killing his 4-year-old son on Christmas Eve and wounding two other people was arrested Sunday, according to Baltimore County Police.

Mark Jones, 30, was taken into custody after allegedly shooting and killing the child, Jacobi Jones. Mark Jones is also accused of shooting and injuring the child’s mother, her 1-year-old daughter and himself around 6:35 a.m. on Christmas Eve in Rosedale.

Police said the mother, the 1-year-old and the suspect are all in stable condition. Mark Jones is currently being held without bond at the Baltimore County Detention Center.

A GoFundMe organized by the mother, Promyss Marcelle, has over 1,100 donations totaling just over $30,000 as of Sunday afternoon.

“Grieving the loss of my son has been the most unbearable thing I’ve ever had to deal with,” Marcelle wrote in the description of the fundraiser, adding that she was “trying to push through for the sake of the fact that I still have my daughter who needs me.”
