Another man and woman who had been injured were taken to area hospitals by people at the scene. Tamir Rasheek Davis, 26, of New Castle, Delaware, succumbed to his injury at the hospital.
A fourth victim, Darius Anthony Blalock, 26, also of Bear, was later found lying on the side of I-95 South and pronounced dead at the scene, according to the police report.
Police arrested the suspect at a residence in the 200 block of Channing Drive in Bear around 1 p.m. Wednesday. A search warrant was conducted at the residence, where officers recovered two 9mm pistols along with several rounds of ammunition, police say.
