“Isn’t It Romantic”

Comedy/romance, PG-13. Rebel Wilson stars as a woman who hits her head during an attempted mugging and wakes up to find herself in a rom-com. No, really. Liam Hemsworth (“The Hunger Games”), Priyanka Chopra also star.

“Alita: Battle Angel”

Action/sci-fi, PG-13. Robert Rodriguez directs a script co-written by James Cameron in which a “deactivated female cyborg” is reanimated and sets out on a journey to learn who she really is. Mahershala Ali, Jennifer Connelly and Christoph Waltz star.

Friday

“Everybody Knows”

Mystery/drama, R. A woman (Penelope Cruz) returns to her hometown near Madrid for a family wedding when an incident occurs that reveals long-held secrets.

Feb. 22

“How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World”

Animated/family, PG. Hiccup learns there is more than one Night Fury and goes in search of a hidden world to stop Grimmel the tyrant. With the voices of Jay Baruchel, Cate Blanchett and Kit Harington.

“The Turning”

Horror, not yet rated. In the latest adaptation of Henry James’ “The Turn of the Screw,” Mackenzie Davis (“Halt and Catch Fire”) cares for two children who have lost their parents and may be living in a haunted house. Finn Wolfhard (“Stranger Things”) and Brooklynn Prince (“The Florida Project”) star as the kids.

March 1

“Greta”

R, thriller. A widow (Isabelle Huppert) who befriends a young woman (Chloe Grace Moretz) harbors a dark secret and terrifying intentions. Neil Jordan (“The Crying Game”) directs.

“A Madea Family Funeral”

PG-13, comedy. A family reunion in Georgia takes a turn when Madea’s (Tyler Perry, who also wrote/directed) clan must plan for a death in the family. With Courtney Burrell, Cassie Davis and Ciera Payton.

“Saint Judy”

PG-13, biopic. Michelle Monaghan (“True Detective,” “Mission Impossible”) plays real-life immigration attorney Judy Wood, who helped shape the law for women to claim asylum.

“Captain Marvel”

Action/adventure, PG. Oscar winner Brie Larson dons the superhero suit as the character aims to save Earth from aliens fighting with each other. Gemma Chan (“Crazy Rich Asians”), Samuel L. Jackson and Lee Pace also star.
