Turning 100 never looked so good. The Greater Baltimore Urban League (GBUL) kicked off its 100th anniversary campaign. For a century, the nonprofit has been at the forefront of empowering communities and advancing civil rights.
The gala, themed A Century of Impact, A Future of Promise, brought together community leaders, public officials and supporters. The who’s who of Baltimore gathered at the Convention Center Hilton Hotel.
The Beverly and Howard Henderson Impactful Couple Award went to Governor Wes Moore and First Lady Dawn Flythe Moore for their public service across the city and state. Other honorees included P. David Bramble of MCB Real Estate; Sylvia and Eddie Brown of Brown Capital Management and GBUL Chief Development Officer, Jennifer Wicks, Rising Star Award.
