One man was fatally shot and three other people were wounded in separate shootings Saturday night in Baltimore’s Pimlico neighborhood. Northwest District officers arrived at the 5500 block of Hamlin Avenue at about 8:15 p.m. Saturday and found an unidentified man who had been shot several times, Baltimore Police Department spokeswoman Lindsey Eldridge said in a news release.
He was taken to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Homicide detectives are investigating the shooting, she said.
The slaying happened less than an hour after two men and a woman were shot and wounded inside a business in the 5100 block of Park Heights Avenue.
The release said that when Northern District officers arrived at 7:25 p.m., they found a 26-year-old man and a 30-year-old woman with gunshot wounds.
They were taken to a local hospital for treatment.
A short time later, Eldridge said, a 21-year-old man walked into an area hospital seeking treatment for a gunshot wound.
Investigators later determined that the three had been shot at the same location.
All three victims are in critical but stable condition, the news release said.
